We recommend that you assign a static IP address to the Pinpad.
Assembly Payments' recommendation is that the best way to do this is by setting up an IP address reservation via the Wi-Fi router/modem.
As there are numerous makes and models of routers and modems, outlining the steps for setting up an IP address reservation is outside the scope of this guide.
Please refer to your Wi-Fi router or modem documentation for further information. Alternatively, contact your IT support department if assistance is required with connecting and setting up the Pinpad terminal on your Wi-Fi network.
After the IP address reservation has been configured for the Pinpad, you may then proceed and pair the Pinpad with Idealpos.
